Tooling

The production of laminations requires the use of highly specialised tooling. At EELL customer tooling is designed and manufactured in-house. All design and manufacture of tooling is dedicated for use in our own press shop. Our in-house tooling facilities enable us to quickly produce low cost tooling of very high quality. This includes blank and notch, compound and progression dies, including Tooling with "In Die" Stacking Assembly.

Production

Laminations come in a variety of sizes, which we are able to produce from very small to very large diameters; also we can produce laminations in segment form. Our production facilities have blanking presses and highly specialised notching presses to accommodate outside diameters upto 1250 mm, presses range from 10 tonne to 300 tonne capacity.

We have facilities for long and short runs, for the small volume production or for large diameters we can utilise single blanking presses along with manual notching machines, where large diameter and larger quantity is required we can use automatic notching machines. EELL have the expertise and knowledge to produce all types of Electrical Steel Laminations. Supplied loose or in assembled form i.e.: welded, riveted or interlocked packs.

Our quality department exercises close inspection at every stage of production. Customer satisfaction is paramount to EELL, to this end the workforce and staff are committed to ensuring that quality of our product is of the highest standard. From raw materials to finished products, close quality control is maintained to ensure that our products are of the highest standard.

Packaging and Despatch

After final inspection all finished products are taken to packing and despatch area where they are packed to a standard that prevents damage and deterioration during storage and delivery. Experienced carriers make our deliveries, for small consignments and urgent requirements we despatch using our own vehicles. We are pleased to discuss any special packing and delivery requirements with our customers.
